You don’t have time for six Tuesday evenings — no one does!

And yet…
If you made the time you would…
• create community with other expecting families. Many couples meet in class and end up friends or at least touchpoints for each other in that first, exciting year of having a baby
• be able to absorb information, reflecting on what you learned last week as you go to class the next week
• build confidence gradually. Every week, your confidence gets reinforced as you learn more, remember what you learned last week, and interact with teachers who are sure that you can have an empowered experience.
• be able to learn complex topics like labor physiology, pain-coping techniques, medical interventions, and postpartum recovery in manageable pieces rather than feeling overwhelmed in one day.
• have time to practice skills such as breathing, relaxation, and labor positions between sessions, making them feel more natural and effective.
• Get your questions answered that arise during the week, leading to deeper understanding and more personalized guidance.
Over six weeks, participants build relationships with the instructor and other expectant families, creating a sense of community and shared support. This ongoing interaction encourages open discussion, normalizes fears, and helps you feel less alone in their experience. The extended timeframe also allows partners to become more engaged and confident in their support role. Ultimately, a six-week class supports not only knowledge retention, but also emotional readiness, confidence, and a more positive approach to the birth experience.
You don’t think you have the time… but you can make it!
